Liverpool Supporter Brandon Grimes Tragically Killed in Florida Hit-and-Run

Liverpool Fan Brandon Grimes Tragically Dies in Florida Hit-and-Run

Liverpool supporter and FA referee Brandon Grimes, from Seaham in County Durham, has tragically died in a hit-and-run incident in Florida at the age of 26.

Brandon was visiting Florida on holiday with a friend when the incident happened on September 25. His family and partner, David Jackson, are now seeking answers about what happened as they begin arrangements to bring his body back to the UK.

His loved ones described Brandon as a kind, intelligent, funny and caring person who brought happiness to those around him. His sudden death has left his family and friends devastated.

David said the family currently have more questions than answers and are finding it difficult to obtain clear information about the circumstances of the incident. He also revealed that Brandon had tried to contact him shortly before his death.

A passionate football supporter, Brandon followed both Liverpool and England and also worked as an FA referee. David said the couple had been together since February and had already started making plans for their future together.

The family has launched a GoFundMe campaign to help with the significant costs of bringing Brandon home to the UK. They are also looking for an international funeral director who can help with the repatriation process.

Tributes have since been shared by Liverpool supporters and others who knew Brandon, with messages of sympathy and support being sent to his grieving family.
